Proximal algorithms and inertial dynamical systems for structured nonsmooth optimization problems

报告摘要:

In this talk, we mainly consider proximal algorithms with extrapolation and inertial dynamical systems for solving some structured nonsmooth optimization problems. We first compare the relationship between the extrapolation techniques applied in the proximal algorithms and the inertial term used in the second-order inertial dynamical systems. Then, we analyze the convergence behavior of the proximal algorithms and dynamical systems. Finally, some numerical experiments have been conducted to illustrate the efficiency of our method.

报告人简介:

温博,河北工业大学理学院教授,硕士研究生导师。2017年9月获得哈尔滨工业大学理学博士学位与香港理工大学哲学博士学位,主要从事最优化理论与算法研究,主持国家自然科学基金一项,河北省自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金一项,河北省教育厅基金一项,在SIAM Journal on Optimization,Computational Optimization and Applications, Journal of Global Optimization,Optimization Letters,Optimization等期刊杂志发表多篇论文。
